MD Junior Science and Humanities Symposium
The Maryland Junior Science and Humanities is part of a three-day conference designed to expose high school students to advanced STEM education and research opportunities. This extraordinary conference will feature distinguished panelists, stimulating workshops and entertaining events. If your research paper is selected, you will have the opportunity to share your findings with more than 400 gifted STEM students from across the country.
Research Areas include Computer Science and Mathematics, Engineering, Physical Science, Life Science, Medicine and Health and Environmental Science.
Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts due January 20, 2013
- Abstracts must not exceed 250 words including title, authors, and institutions.
- Abstracts MUST be submitted via the online registration system. NO EMAIL, FASCIMILE, OR HARD COPY submissions will be accepted.

Research Paper Guidelines
Full research papers due February 15, 2013
The paper should be a minimum of 5-6 pages and a maximum of 20 pages including appendices.
- Paper must be typed double-spaced in Times New Roman, 11pt font.
- Paper MUST be submitted via the online registration system. NO EMAIL, FASCIMILE, OR HARD COPY submissions will be accepted.
- Paper must be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format, preferably PDF format.
