About Pre-Conference Day
Since its inception, the Pre-Conference Day has served as the largest outreach effort spearheaded by both Innovative STEM Foundation and the office of the Associate Dean of the School of Engineering at Morgan State University. Our purpose is to inspire motivated students from around the State of Maryland to pursue careers in S.T.E.M.
The Pre-Conference Day features:
- Prominent guest speakers from STEM fields
- A technology expo with more than 20 demos
- Research abstract training workshops for High School Students in preparation for the following years JSHS
- A Mathematics and Ingenuity competition for Middle School students
